ABF produces brass, copper, bronze and aluminium forgings.

Brass

Brass alloys have always been a strong point for ABF. Alloys such as 352, 360, 377, 385, 486, 674, 686 in sizes up to 7kgm can be made for a wide variety of industry applications. Components range from a simple key blank for the security industry, a quality fascia plate for the door furniture industry, DR brass tap components or a high tolerance machined valve body for the automotive LPG industry. The skills, knowledge and resources ABF has allow us to manufacture forgings for all industry segments.

Copper

ABF manufactures many different copper forgings. Simple small electrical contacts to large cable lugs can all be supplied. ABF has the resources and knowledge base to meet customer specifications.

Bronze

Meeting the needs of a variety of marine industry requirements ABF can supply quality bronze forgings. Forgings are supplied in a variety of alloys and have been used for high performance racing winches. ABF skills and technical know-how ensures a high quality result.

Aluminium

A variety of aluminium forgings are made to meet high customer standards relating to dimensional tolerances and surface finishes. Where the design requirements allows for the use of aluminium, high strength and lightweight forgings can provide an excellent alternative to more traditional materials and processes. Anodized surface finishes can provide that extra finishing touch to meet customer product appeal.

Stainless Steel

ABF machines a wide range of Stainless Steel alloys for a variety of industries. Alloys such as 2205, 303, 304, 316, 431 and Inconnel 625 are used to machine extremely high tolerance components both small and large. Shafts in excess of 55mm diameter and 800mm long can be accurately machined to customer specifications.
